I am the original owner of this very well-regarded, very lightly used (less than 50 hours of play time) audiophile-quality CD player. It was manufactured in the U.K. by Rega and is a winning follow-on to the original Rega Planet player. It has fantastic analog-style sound and is easily the finest CD player I have ever owned. It features a 24-bit Sigma Delta IC40 DAC and paired wonderfully with my B&K components and Martin Logan speakers. It is pristine and includes the original remote, also in pristine condition. At one point this was possibly the finest CD player money could buy. You needed an awful lot of money to buy it but quality seldom comes cheap! Arguably it's the world's first truly great CD player. Even now it's still an amazingly good CD player with build quality to die for. Until the auction ends it will be in my main system; it is incredible - transparently detailed to the nth degree and evenhanded across the whole frequency spectrum. It's just been inspected by a friend of mine who has worked for Naim and still has connections in the company. He said it appeared to be little used and was in excellent mechanical shape. Both units are in great cosmetic condition as my pictures hopefully illustrate. They come with the original remote control and the cable to join them.
