FORSELL CD TRANSPORT AIR REFERENCE AIR BEARING Picture(s) and Description:

I recently purchased this Forsell at a moving sale for a friend of mine that collects high end audio. Turns out he had one already. I don’t need or understand it so I’m selling it.  On-line research shows that this CD player runs on air bearings, hence the air pump with dedicated plug. All I did was plug it in to make sure it powered up, and that it recognized the CD when installed. Past that, I have to knowledge about this type of audio technology. It’s being sold “as is”. The original owner said they paid $ 8000.00 for it , and that it worked, but occasionally was “hinky”. I don’t know what that means. Assume it could need some repair or maintenance. The finish is piano black which showed every fingerprint and lint speck in the photos. It probably weighs around 50 lbs. or more before packing. Occasionally the shipping calculator is wrong. If you think it is, email me to verify before bidding.  Item is located in East Brunswick,NJ which is just under an hour from Manhattan or Philly, You are welcome to come by to check it out by appt. with sufficent notice. Don’t try coming by on the last day of the auction. I may not be available. We only ship to confirmed addresses. Methods of payment we accept are: Paypal or greenbacks on pick up.
