Up for auction is my cherished Naim CDi cd player. I need some cash to get a new phono cartridge so unfortunately this will have to find a new home. I purchased this from a guy who bought it new years ago and then left overseas for a tour of duty as a contractor in the middle east. He only used it for a few hours and I have only put on probably 30 hours in my time of ownership because I having been listening to more vinyl than anything. This item has performed flawlessly. It is a outstanding player and just makes the whole playback experience a good time. The top load design is great and makes playing compact discs a heck of a lot of fun. Lifting up the tinted lid, placing the disc on the transport, and then clamping it down with the Naim puck is just an absolute blast and I will miss it. Besides the bass response is fantastic and solid, this has the characteristic Naim rhythm, pace and timing. It is a substantially heavy unit with a floating transport design to isolate it from vibrations. Its weight comes from its ruggid chassis and huge toroidal power supply. I will include a top quality Chord din to rca cable with the unit for connecting to other non Naim units. This item will be shipped in its original box with its remote, power cord, and manual. I will even include a Naim product brochure featuring this player along with other products. The remote is the original one that came with this unit which will allow you to change inputs and adjust volume on a Naim preamplifier or integrated amplifier. Insurance will be included in the cost of shipping which is free. This is a great opportunity to pick up this player for a fraction of its original $4000 asking price.
