Wonderful sounding and gorgeous looking cd player from Yamaha, from the upper range of their players of the time. High quality components,switchable digital outputs,digital level control and all the usual features one would expect from a high quality player. Really nicely made, and matches the AX-930 amp I also have for sale separately, the stack photo just shows the complete set together,and only the cd player is for sale in this listing. No remote I am afraid but they are easy to come by on ebay. Its not exactly rocket science to use it anyway. A cut well above an average cd player, and cost £350 when new in 1990. It plays my own cdr's burnt at 4x without complaint, but I have not tried cdrw's, and discs burned at high speeds on a pc can cause problems for a great many older players in any case,so I do not guarantee it will work with every cdr burned at any speed. The sound quality will be a revelation to you if you are used to an mp3 player,and paired with the AX-930 it is a match made in heaven, but sounds great with any amp, I have tried it with 5 different units all with great results. No reserve, and has worldwide voltage so I will post this to the countries stated. Please ask BEFORE bidding about carriage costs! The price shown is for carriage to the UK mainland only and not the outlying islands and highlands. Thanks and good luck.
